Steppin' Out Academy

Giving young performers the chance to experience high level Musical Theatre and Dance training. We are the South's leading Dance & Performance Academy, as featured on CBBC and Britain's Got Talent.

With specialised programs in Commercial & Street Dance with our in house crew 'Ignited'.

We have one of the best training studio complexes in the UK featuring 3 purpose built studios with sprung floors, mirrors, barres and built in sound system. An additional two studios plus a coffee shop adds to the amenities.

  • Professional and fully qualified training from age 3  upwards.
  • I.S.T.D Exams, Acrobatic Arts Exams, competitions and festivals are available but not compulsory.
  • For fun, to keep fit and healthy, or to pursue a career in dance, acrobatic arts or musical theatre.
  • Classes designed for your child's needs and goals, so they don't feel left out and will receive the best dance training.
  • Caring and nurturing environment.
  • Fantastic opportunities to perform regularly in musical productions.

Give your child the chance to dance and perform at the south's leading Dance & Performance Academies, as featured on CBBC.

The Steppin' Out Academy offers professional and fully qualified training from age 2 and a half upwards - just for fun, to keep fit and healthy, or to pursue a career in dance, acobatic arts or musical theatre.

Our classes are designed for your child's needs and goals, so they don't feel left out and will receive the best dance training. We make sure all our students are cared for by offering quality professional teaching.

There are fantastic opportunities to perform regularly in musical productions. Each pupil is individually monitored so they progress when they are ready, not as a whole class.

I.S.T.D Examinations, competitions and festivals are available but not compulsory.

A specialised program has been developed for the more serious student wanting a career in dance or musical theatre to enable them to achieve places at top Dance Colleges or go straight into work.
